The University of Nottingham has appointed X-Cel Construct as the main contractor to refurbish the Foyer and Main Entrance of the University of Nottingham Medical School which is located on the site of the QMC
Hospital. The project includes the full refurbishment of the entrance foyer and associated spaces as well as the provision of a new café and significant expansion of the open study area of the Greenfield Medical library, in addition to this a new architecturally designed Main Entrance will be constructed.
All works will be administered under the JCT Intermediate Building Contract (IC) 2011.

The single storey, open plan office building, along with alterations to the existing building has created a new expanded call centre.

Eight luxury two bedroom residential flats spread across two storeys located in Lenton, Nottingham. All aspects of the project were carried out under a JCT Design and Build contract. The construction consisted of piled foundations, insitu concrete frame to the ground floor and timber frame to the residential element.
The flats benefit from renewable energy (solar panels), thus reducing the carbon footprint. Each flat comprises of a large kitchen, two bedrooms, luxury bathroom, fully fitted kitchen and a large balcony.
